What a year it has been for Lauren Alaina. She finished as runner up to Scotty McCreery in the American Idol finale, beating out thousands of contestants to get to the top in this competition. Backstage after the finale, Fox All Access producer Robin Whitaker spoke to Alaina, who was honored to sing with country music star and former Idol winner, Carrie Underwood. LOL, sometimes I think she’s more ready for a relationship than he is. Maybe they are just really good friends right now, but I hope that won’t prevent them from allowing themselves to get closer. True love is hard to find, so you should never prevent yourself from exploring a relationship. And When you can have a best friend who becomes your boyfriend or girlfriend then you have a love that truly lasts a lifetime. <3
